Explore saved surf forecasts around the world, one beach and forecast hour at a time.
Beach markers show recorded offshore waves, primary and secondary swell, wind and forecast confidence. These are discrete forecast locations, not a continuous ocean forecast. Choose a model to compare its recorded offshore inputs; missing hours remain unavailable.
Follow the same forecast hour
The map and beach charts share an exact UTC timestamp, with beach clocks shown in local time. Forecast length depends on the saved source; no extra days are invented.
Ocean layers and point forecasts
Ocean-wide layers require separately published, attributed marine model grids. When such grids are available, the map displays their actual cells and a clicked ocean point uses the nearest recorded grid cell. Ocean samples do not include estimated breaking surf or a beach quality score.
